Bio: Thorn was born in Northwind, to Tethys and Dione Thorizas. Due to Thorn being unhappy with his parents, he ran away from home at the age of 15. He fled to a nearby forest and was taken in by Scorn, Red and Ares, who were currently residing in there while hiding from Lucifer during the Revokian Ages. In return for their acceptance back into Hell, the three women sacrificed Thorn to the Devil. Thorn was seen as special by Lucifer, who granted him the special duty of guarding the gates of Hell. Cerberus, the previous guardian had been missing since the beginning of the Revokian Ages, therefore Lucifer need Thorn to fill his place. Thorn was good at his job, so much so that after serving Lucifer for an eternity, he was made a Dark Angel, an official warrior of Lucifer.

When the great war between the Dark Angels and the Archangels began, Thorn chose not to fight. This was not out of cowardice, as he did not see the point of wasting his life over a pointless battle. He successfully hid from the battle, and afterwards he went out onto the battlefield, only to find every Angel dead. Thorn discovered that when a Dark Angel dies, their power is left behind in their blood. He drank much blood from the corpses of the Angels, absorbing a lot of light and dark Magick. He discovered that he now had enough power to break out of Hell, but not before being found by Lucifer. Thorn announced that he was leaving, and then escaped from Hell.

Thorn spent many years after that testing his own powers. He travelled from world to world, causing death and destruction. Thorn came to Dalimoor with the intent to destroy it, but decided against this when he fell in love with Laurenza. He also had a deep resentment towards Kuja, blossoming into something of a rivalry between them. Laurenza and Thorn married shortly after. Thorn spent much time with the gang, gradually gaining their trust. During this time, Ares, a Dark Angel who had died during the great war and an old friend of Thorn's, continually possessed him. Her aim was to 'shake' the Magick out of him and claim it as her own. She made Thorn do terrible things to his friends and eventually attempted to destroy Dalimoor. Unfortunately, she got her wish and Thorn lost his powers. Ares claimed his Magick and used it to construct her own body. The gang defeated Ares, though, and life soon returned to normal. With Ares gone, Thorn started becoming more and more civilised and accustomed to life in Dalimoor. He made strong friends in Bo and his family, and started a new relationship with Adrienne after his divorce from Laurenza.

Unfortunately, Adrienne died soon afterwards, along with their unborn child. Thorn travelled to the future, where he met his 8-year-old son, Lahrne, who existed as part of a different stream of time. Before he could fade into nothing, Thorn saved Lahrne and brought him back to the present. Thorn's current partner is Kuja, whom he betrothed while on holiday in Calanoa. He encountered the dark side of his personality in Finn, a battle ensued, and the light side of Thorn won. The darkness inside of Thorn was gone, resulting in many of his powers being lost, but he seems to be getting along fine without them. Though life with Kuja can sometimes be difficult, Thorn never wants to let him go, and loves him with all his heart.
