Thornada is a large, white Hell Beast who can only speak in Latin. His spirit was summoned by Thorn to save Kuja, which must have meant he was dead to begin with. His staff has the power to transfer life from one being to another, and is the reason the spirit of Thornada is gone. Thorn transferred the life of Li into Kuja, blessing him with eternal life as he did. He then gave his own eternal life to Li. It was recently discovered that Thornada was the result of a sexual encounter between Paige and Thorn.
