Bio: The only offspring of Alexander and Heather Greyfare, after many attempts to conceive a child. He was born very ill and his father, a famous doctor and scientist, researched into ways of helping him recover (See Alexander Greyfare for more information). As a child, Kuja was physically weak and unable to participate in many of the games and activities of his peers. Because of this, he never learnt how to swim. As an adult, he is afraid of large expanses of water because he once fell in the lake at Harrow Park and could not swim. Since his parents loved him so much, he was a rather spoiled child, given lot of sweets often. This caused him to become a little fat and be picked on by other children. This resulted in him becoming anorexic in later life.

When he was older, Alexander took Kuja to the Daichi Labs and administered Etheraal DNA into him, granting him his Magick and good health. The Magick also turned his hair the strange colour it is today. Alexander then became more interested in Kuja's developing Magickal powers, and cloned him to create Mihako and Yigo. He noticed that Kuja's powers became stronger when he was upset. Alexander decided to test how far these powers would go by telling Kuja the worst thing he could think of: that he made Kuja in a laboratory to be nothing more than a living weapon, and all his memories were fake. He also told Kuja that he only had a limited amount of life, which was partly true, as the Magick given to him would only last until Kuja was about 25. Alexander told Kuja he would only live long enough to be a useful weapon. Kuja's AoD powers manifested, he killed Alexander and destroyed Daichi. The first transformation jumbled up Kuja's memories, and from that point on he could remember nothing before the incident with Alexander, so he believed what he was told to be true. He believed he was in fact created to be a living weapon and remembered nothing of his past.

Kuja returned to Yochi and was taken in by Mihako and Yigo who had escaped to the Necromancer's Village there. There he was looked after by them for a few years and told more lies that Alexander had told Yigo and Mihako. Soon after, Kuja left the village to fulfil his purpose of being a living weapon, and took residence in an old mansion. There he lured unsuspecting innocents inside and killed them in a sadistic and merciless manner. This continued for quite a few years, until Laurenza of Dalimoor wished to recruit the powerful Mage Kuja into her Circle of warriors. At first he was reluctant to join, but he soon reconsidered as he developed feelings for the young Queen, feelings of love that he had not felt in a long time.

This brings us closer to the present day. Kuja became Castle Medra's Mage and had a brief relationship with the indecisive Laurenza. He liked her very much and actually considered proposing to her, but she thought it was just a crush and soon moved on with a different partner. Kuja was very upset by this and tried to return to his old life, but found he could not now that he had felt love. He came back to the castle only to find that a few weeks later, Thorn had come into the picture. Thorn and Laurenza took an instant liking to each other, making Kuja quite jealous. He and Thorn hated each other with a burning passion, never going for more than a few minutes without arguing or threatening to kill each other. Even when Thorn and Laurenza were married, Kuja did not give up his attempts to win her over. One of these attempts ended up in the birth of Ana. It seemed that no one could harbour a hatred for someone else more than Thorn and Kuja; however, things are not always what they seem. As they spent more and more time together, they both began to like Laurenza less, and each other more. Kuja and Thorn stopped being enemies and became friends, and eventually this friendship blossomed into love, a love that each of them had been hiding and denying for quite a while. During this time, with the help of Thorn and his mother, Kuja recovered his memories, so he remembered the truth of his origins.

Recently, Kuja's encounter with Paige resulted in his old evil ways rearing their ugly head. Kuja tried to destroy the evil inside of him, but ended up killing himself. He was sent to Hell and met with its current leader, Natica. Natica granted him life again as a Dark Angel on the condition that he killed Paige. However, becoming a Dark Angel did little to change the fact that he is part-Etheraal. During the recent Etheraal mating season, Kuja felt his Demonic instincts calling him back to the Etheraal colony on Yochi. In his AoD form, he conceived a child with another Etheraal. He named this child Tabitha.

Kuja is quite an attractive man with a slight feminine quality to his appearance. He is rather short and very, very skinny. Though naturally brown, his feathery soft hair has been changed silver-purple by his Magick. His eyes are a dark, inky blue that he normally outlines with red makeup. He is also marked by red Etheraal stripes on most of his body. He is a fan of long, flowing clothes. Kuja's personality is a little less than favourable, as he is heavily sarcastic and has rather a dry wit. He is vain and arrogant. His likes include reading, writing and drinking tea. His dislikes include anything sporting and small children/animals.
