Bio: Tifanel has no last name and no real family. He is not even a real human. He was created in the Owens Weapon Research Facility on the planet Earth by the scientist, Alistair Owens, as a prototype for a living weapon. Alistair's original intention was for Tifanel to be nothing but a killing machine. He wasn't taught how to talk, or even act like a human being. All he was instructed to do was fight. He could be given commands by a member of the Owens family by speaking his password, 'Yv-Ev-Ma,' the initials of three of the Owens women. It was not until Alistair's daughter, Evelyn, took pity on Tifanel and began teaching him to be a real human that he learnt some social skills. She taught him how to speak, feel and think for himself. Tifanel learned mostly through example. When he saw Evelyn was frightened of snakes on the day Maurice King's genetically modified serpent escaped, he developed his own fear of them. Evelyn and Tifanel became very good friends, perhaps even more than that, but their interactions were all done without Alistair having any knowledge of them. Alistair was still under the impression that Tifanel was just a weapon with no free will of his own.

One fateful day, Alistair discovered Evelyn in Tifanel's company and got the wrong idea. He thought Tifanel was trying to hurt Evelyn, so he called in security. They shot at Tifanel, but missed and hit Evelyn instead. This severely annoyed Tifanel and caused him to go on a murderous rampage, killing everyone in the building and the surrounding village, excluding the women and children. After this, Tifanel ran away from the village and was taken in by a kindly family that finished educating him. He, Riley and Felicity Angelo had a happy little life together, closed off from the rest of the world. He became quite attached to his foster parents. This fleeting joy in Tifanel's life came to an end all too soon when an accident exposed he was the murderer from before. Once again, he had to flee his 'home.' Riley helped him escape to Dalimoor and take up the post of Guardian of the Dalimoorian Princess, Laurenza.

Tifanel grew up into an ordinary guy, but with almost supernatural strength and amazing sword skills. Tifanel is a very tall, well-built man with shoulder length silver hair and turquoise eyes. He loves DIY and beer. He is quite good-natured and always tries to help those in trouble, but his ex-best friend Li always tended to have a bad influence on him. Tifanel's secret dream is to one day get married and have children, to build thefamily that he never really had. Laurenza's younger sister, Chiara, seems to have quite an interest in Tifanel, but it's not clear whether he returns the affection or not.
