Kuja's alter ego that was created by the injection of Etheraal DNA into his bloodstream. The transformation is usually brought on by getting Kuja very, very angry. His AoD form resembles an Etheraal as his hair turns red, he gains red fur and his eyes change the colour of fire. He obtains the skeletal, red wings; large ears and brand-like markings as well. When in AoD form, he has two moods. The most common involves Kuja focused fully on killing the person who did him wrong, and only that. Due to his Etheraal hunting instincts, after slaying the hated one, he then proceeds to wipe out their entire bloodline. He also tends to chew on people's wings. The other is a gentle, animal-like personality in which he acts like an energetic puppy or kitten. Mihako was also able to transform into an AoD, however, her transformation was irreversable.
