*Meanwhile, a lion with red wings sprouting from its back is flying through the clouds over Dalimoor. Resting on its back is Bo.*
Lion: So, these guys you know, you really think they're gonna help us?
Bo: Well, Lenny, I helped them once.
Lenny: Bo, you helped saved them from some uber-powerful dark Hell beast and now you think that this Hell beast is gonna help us?
Bo: I trust him.
Lenny: Well, I trust you, so I guess I trust him as well.
Bo: I just wish I could remember where Castle Medra is... It's gonna take great power to pinpoint that place exactly, some really strong location spell or amazing scientific...
Lenny: *Squints at the form of Castle Medra rising beneath them.* Is that it?
*Bo and Lenny fly toward Dalimoor castle and land in front of it.*
Bo: Good work Len.
Lenny: It wasn't that hard to spot…

*They knock on the door and Tifanel answers.*
Tifanel: Yello? Oh hey there Bo, good to see ya. *Gestures to Lenny.* This a friend of yours?
Bo: Yes.
Lenny: I'm Lenny. *Holds out his paw for Tifanel to shake it.*
Tifanel: *Shakes it.* Hi, I'm Tifanel.
Lenny: *Nods.*
Tifanel: So what brings you back to our humble world?
Bo: I'm afraid it's not a social call. We need Thorn's help...
Tifanel: 'Save the world' kind of help?
Bo: Is there ever any other kind?
Lenny: From what I hear, he saves it and destroys it...
Tifanel: Well, sorta. Thorn's around the castle somewhere, I saw him earlier on.
Thorn: *Comes walking up behind Tifanel.* Bo?
Bo: Thorn, it's nice to see you again.
Lenny: *Kinda scared.* Err... speak for yourself.
Thorn: Aren't lions meant to be brave?
Lenny: Haven't you ever seen The Wizard of Oz?
Thorn: Well, you just gotta remember, gothic creatures from Hell are people too.
Bo: Thorn, we need your help...
Thorn: What's the trouble?
Bo: This big evil is invading our dimension and the two dimensions surrounding it. We need someone of your power to help us fight it.
Thorn: Oh...
Bo: We would really be grateful… and you wouldn't be gone long...
Thorn: Well, you did help us. I would like to repay my debt.
Lenny: Thank you, Thorn.
*Ana comes running up the hill towards them.*
Ana: Thorn! *Pants, trying to catch her breath.* You're... going... away?
Thorn: *Nods* It's very important, Ana. I must go, but I won't be gone long.
Ana: But, but… what if you don't come back...?
Thorn: I will come back. I promise.
Ana: But what if something happens while you're gone?
*Bo and Lenny walk over to the side and whisper to each other. After a few seconds, they come back.*
Bo: Would you like Lenny to stay and take care of things while Thorn and I are gone?
Ana: That'd be better, I s'pose.
Lenny: *Bows low and then straightens up.* It would be an honour.
Tifanel: *Quietly.* Geez, I guess we're not tough enough on our own. *Walks inside the castle.*
Ana: Make sure you do come back, Thorn, 'cos I'll kill ya if you don't.
Thorn: *Lowers his head and laughs quietly.* Yeah...I will. *Thorn picks up Bo, spreads his wings and turns to everyone.* I will be back.
*And with that, Thorn and Bo Teleport away.*
Lenny: He will, you know.
*Kitzie comes running out of the castle, looking excited.*
Kitzie: Did I hear Bo?
Lenny: Err... yeah.
Kitzie: Hey! Another furry friend! *Glomps Lenny.*
Lenny: *Looks shocked.* Err...
Ana: *Quietly to herself.* I can't believe that's Kitzie...
Kitzie: *Lets go of Lenny and goes to Ana.* You're that sneezy cupboard girl.
Ana: Uh, yes.
Kitzie: Why are you still here? Why don't you go home?
Ana: Because.
Kitzie: Okay! *Hugs Lenny some more.*
*Lenny starts to fly a little, letting Kitzie hang off him.*
Lenny: *Laughs.*
Kitzie: Whee!
*Lenny flies back down.*
Kitzie: Fun!
Ana: *Grins some.* Hey Kitzie. Do you wanna know your fortune?
Kitzie: Huh?
Ana: *Laughs mysteriously.* I can tell you your future. *Makes swirly hand movements.*
Kitzie: Um, okay! Do I marry a handsome doggy when I grow up?
Lenny: Bo?
Kitzie: Yeah, yeah!
Ana: You don't marry him, sorry.
Kitzie: Awww, nuts.
Lenny: He's already married!
Kitzie: Doesn't bother me!
Ana: *Pokes Kitzie gently on the nose.* Yeah, but with your job and all you're too busy for romance. *Stares off into the distance.* Too busy for me… everyone is...
Lenny: Are you from the future or something?
Ana: Good work, Sherlock.
Lenny: Affairs of the future should be left to the future!
Ana: Stop it, you remind me of Thorn. If you'd seen my world, you'd be pretty darn glad you're here and not there.
Lenny: If you're upset with the way your world is, you make it better. It's what we in Homeworld have always sworn to do!
Ana: *Goes quiet for a moment.*
Lenny: Messing around with the passage of time is stupid and selfish! It could have serious repercussions on the future!
Ana: *Looks very guilty and tears form in her eyes. She runs off into the castle.*
Lenny: Oh no, I made her cry…
Kitzie: Poor Sneezy... *Thinks for a moment.* I wonder if there's any ice cream left? *Runs off into the castle as well.*
Lenny: Great first impression I've just made...
*Kuja is passing through the Entrance Hall and turns to Lenny.*
Kuja: Standing in the doorway, yes, I've heard it's all the rage.
Lenny: Oh, sorry sir...*Steps towards Kuja.* I wasn't sure there was anyone else here.
Kuja: Talking animals seem to be a trend these days.
Lenny: With all due respect, sir, humans are animals too.
Kuja: *Smiles in a strange way.* I'm not human.
Lenny: Oh! Well...
Kuja: And please, don't call me sir. It just doesn't sound right. The name's Kuja, and you are?
Lenny: I am Lenny, sir... Kuja… Lenny Le'Leerien. I am a friend of Bo's. Both Bo and your friend Thorn have travelled back to my home to fight an evil. It was Bo's wish that I stay here and assist you and your friends in Thorn's absence.
Kuja: Assist us? What, are you here to fetch the paper in or something?
Lenny: If you do not feel you require my services, Kuja, then I shall of course leave.
Kuja: Oh, no, no. I'm sure we can find some use for you. I'm sure you'd make a lovely throw rug, or you'd be an excellent draft excluder.
Lenny: Exparus! *The air around Lenny starts to become very hot and the temperature keeps increasing.*
Kuja: Ah, now I get it. You're a space heater!
Lenny: *Looks disappointed.* Nul. *The air becomes room temperature again.*
Kuja: *Laughs some.* Oh, I'm sorry. Have I upset you?
Lenny: No, it's just... where I come from, beings respect other beings. We are grateful for their time and effort and are polite to new acquaintances.
Kuja: Well, where I come from, there's no time to be a nice guy. You have to be tough to survive or else you'll end up dead.
Lenny: Not different from my home world, believe me, but we have built our society on trust and respect and not on insults and ingratitude.
Kuja: Sorry, but you're not in your precious little home world any more, and if you can't handle my insults and ingratitude, why don't you run on home?
Ana: You big meanie!
*Ana, who's obviously been eavesdropping, jumps out from behind a doorway and jumps on Kuja, knocking him down. She hits him repeatedly.*
Ana: Why do you always have to be so nasty?
Kuja: Get off me! *Picks her up and throws her off him.*
Lenny: *Goes to Ana.* Are you okay?
Ana: *Rubs her backside.* No, daddy's being so horrible to you and I don't like it.
Kuja: *Looks very annoyed.* I'm not your father! How could I spawn an annoying little twerp like you?
*Ana seems really hurt and looks like she is going to cry again. Lenny puts him arms around her.*
Lenny: Don't worry. It's okay.
*Kuja is looking closely at Ana, a thoughtful expression on his face.*
Ana: *Stares back at him.* What's your problem?
Kuja: You've got my hair… *Touches the feather like strands of hair on the top of Ana's head.*
Lenny: *Lets go of Ana.* You've only just noticed?
Kuja: I've only just looked. It can't be, you've got my eyes too.
Ana: Now do you believe me?
Kuja: *Smirks some.* So, if you are indeed my daughter, then what you have been saying about the future is all true, then?
Ana: Yeah, I wouldn't lie about it.
Lenny: What about the future?
Kuja: She said that I shall be married to her mother in the future.
Lenny: I'm surprised you weren't married to her already.
Kuja: Unfortunately not.
Lenny: Serious repercussions...
Ana: What do you mean by that?
Lenny: You could be doing damage to the future, coming back and telling people what is to be. You could be making the future worse!
Ana: Hah, anything will be better than my future.
Lenny: Not if you keep changing things! You might not even be affecting just your future life!
Ana: What else might I be affecting?
Lenny: I... don't really know.
Ana: Well, I'm gonna take my chances.
Lenny: ...
Kuja: So, Ana, what's the future like?
Lenny: You shouldn't be meddling about in the future like this!
Kuja: Oh, go find Dorothy and the Tin Man.
Ana: Well, it's pretty different. Mum has spent a lot of time earning the respect back of our people and she's a pretty good Queen now. And you set up the first Magick Temple in Dalin and reside as High Mage there.
Kuja: A Magick Temple in Dalin? Now that's something I've got to see to believe.
Ana: Yeah, and uncle Lierlo is apprenticed to you up at the temple. He's getting pretty good at the basics now.
Kuja: Hahaha… I suppose that's all he can manage now he's no longer a true Spirit. And what's become of old Tifanel?
Ana: He commands the royal guard, the Kitsune Knights. Kitzie joined up with them just recently so she never has time to play with me anymore.
Kuja: And Thorn?
Ana: *Quietly.* He went away and never came back.
Kuja: Oh... Any particular reason why?
Ana: I don't know.
Kuja: Yes, the future sounds pretty good to me. What's so wrong with it that made you come back here?
Ana: Maybe I shouldn't say, it might have... *Mocks Lenny's voice.* …Serious repercussions.
Lenny: Listen to what I say, or you will pay the consequences.
Ana: Cash or charge?
Lenny: Like father… *Looks to Kuja.*… Like daughter. *Looks to Ana.*
*Ana and Kuja look at each other and grin the same grin.*
Ana: Oooh, I'm so scared. I mustn't tell people of what the future brings because I'll have to listen to a big dopey lion lecturing me.
Lenny: *Starts to look angry.* Take that back...
Kuja: Please excuse my daughter, I mean, you're not all that big, are you?
Lenny: If you don't leave the power of time to work as nature intends, I shall be forced to stop you.
Ana: Oooh, what'cha gonna do?
Kuja: Probably moan about it for the next 50 years.
Lenny: *Raises his hands.* Lovum! *Sparks of fire shoot out of Lenny's hands and home onto Ana and Kuja.*
Kuja: Nullify! *A red light shines around them and washes the fire away.* So you want to play rough, do you? I can do that. But if we're going to fight, we should take this outside. I'm sure Laurenza would not appreciate any more walls gaining holes.
Lenny: I don't want to fight you... I just want you to think about the consequences of your actions...
Kuja: If you didn't want to fight, you shouldn't have thrown your silly little fireballs at me.
Ana: Dad, don't cause trouble. *Climbs on Kuja's back and pulls at the sides of his mouth.*
Kuja: Ow aah, Ana schtop it. *Pushes her off and turns back to Lenny. * You attacked me. Where I come from, that's a challenge, and I don't like to back down from a challenge. Fight me.
Lenny: No.
Kuja: Fine, fine. Ana will just continue 'upsetting the course of time' and there is nothing you can do about it.
*Lenny looks down at the ground, thinking hard.*
Kuja: Oh well, no fun for me today. *Turns from Lenny and he Ana go on their way.*
Lenny: Wait!
Kuja: *Turns.* Change your mind?
Lenny: Promise me... that you'll stop messing around with your future, or else I'll f-fight you.
Kuja: I promise I won't mess around with the future, but I don't know about Ana...
Ana: I'm sorry, Lenny, but I'm on a mission. I can't stop what I'm doing.
Lenny: Ana, I promised my best friend that I would help everybody in this castle as much as I could. I know that your future may not be something you like, but it's not an excuse to start meddling with other people's lives. That's selfish and stupid. You should go back to your own time zone before anything is affected.
Ana: Ha, bit late for that.
Lenny: Not if you go back now. You'll only make things worse if you stay here.
Ana: I can't make it worse than it is right now. I won't return to my own time until Thorn comes back.
Lenny: Okay, but you have to stop telling other people about their future.
Ana: Okay, I've only told dad and I said a little something to Thorn but it wasn't too major, I guess.
*Lenny nods.*
Kuja: Oh dear, looks like you'll have to fight me after all.
Lenny: What?
Kuja: That was your conditions: if Ana didn't stop meddling with time, you would fight me. She's staying here, so you've got to fight.
Lenny: *Sighs.* A friendly battle…?
Kuja: Of course. I wouldn't fight you to the death, not unless you really annoyed me.
Lenny: *Bows.* Then I shall take the same courtesy.
Kuja: *Throws down some flash powder and they all teleport out into the grounds.* Are you ready?
Lenny: *Gets into battle stance.* Ready.
Kuja: As I'm such a nice guy, I'll let you make the first move.
Lenny: Flaming Tear! *He spins around and fire shoots out of his eyes towards Kuja.*
Kuja: Cascade Tunnel! *Quenches the fire with a water pillar spell and gives Lenny a good drenching at the same time.* Is that all you've got?
Lenny: Um… *Looks nervous and holds his hands towards the air. A blinding light fills the air and a blue dog like Bo, but with black ears and a heart symbol on her chest, appears before them.*
Dog: No, he's got me. *The dog turns towards Lenny.* Great news Lenny, the evil covering Homeworld has gone.
Lenny: That was quick.
Dog: We multitasked.
Lenny: *Raises his eyebrow.*
Dog: Okay, time Magick was involved.
Kuja: Another talking animal…
Ana: I think Lu started a trend.
Dog: Did I interrupt something?
Lenny: No, I summoned you. I'm glad the fighting's all over.
Kuja: Don't think our fight is. That was pathetic.
Lenny: Oh, sorry Kuja.
Dog: This is why you summoned me? You couldn't take this wimp out by yourself?
Kuja: Who are you calling a wimp? But I'm glad you joined us, Miss Canine. You're just in time for the main act.
Dog: Sorry, wimpy. I didn't finish telling my story. *The dog turns back to Lenny.*
Kuja: Grrr.
Dog: Yes, we used time Magick to make the huge battles pass in no time at all. Bo didn't want to leave you alone with an insane man called Kuja for too long, and that Dark Angel said he wanted to get back to the castle as soon as possible. We were just about to come here by ourselves, until I was rudely interrupted...
Kuja: Insane? Hah! Stupid talking dog… I may be a little twisted, warped and stark raving mad but I am not insane! *Grins.*
Jo: *Turns around and grins at Kuja.* You're Kuja, eh? I'm Jo.
Kuja: Charmed, I'm sure.
Ana: *Steps out from behind Kuja.* Hi, I'm Ana. *Waves.*
Jo: Well, Thorn was going to come along soon, and I might as well just take Lenny back to Homeworld now that I'm here… unless of course you want to finish your battle... *Looks at Lenny.* …By yourselves...
Lenny: *Smiles nervously.*
Kuja: Scared, lion boy?
Lenny: No.
Kuja: I've got a wonderful treat in store for you.
*Lenny and Jo look at each other, worried.*
Kuja: I'd watch who you call a wimp...
*The sky darkens and Lenny and Jo are now ankle deep in water. Suddenly something rises out of the water in front of them. It is a giant fish. On its back rides sits a humongous bull with a four thousand eyes, ears, nostrils mouths and feet. There is a colossal sea serpent wrapped around the bull. Resting on the bull's back is a huge ruby, on top of which stands Kuja.*
Kuja: Mighty Kujata! Unleash your fury upon these pathetic creatures! *The serpent creates a tidal wave, the fish creates ice spears, the bull forms lightning from its horns and Kuja creates fire. The uber powerful magic is then directed at Lenny and Jo. The sky then returns to normal and the sea and the animals disappear as quickly as if it was nothing more than an illusion.*
Jo: EXPLARMUNIE! Talu mata, tempuirie, intenfele! *The Magick slows down.* Lenny, you really have to learn to battle by yourself.
Kuja: Swift forces, give my powers velocity! Speed Up! *The Magick regains speed.*
Jo: Seeyoulaterbye! *Jo and Lenny vanish, back to Homeworld. The Magick explodes on to the ground where they stood creating a huge crater.*
Kuja: Never heard an incantation quite like that one...
*Quiet applause is heard behind them.*
Ana: Huh? Who's there? *She and Kuja turn around to find Thorn is standing there.*
Thorn: It's good to be back.
